This site is owned and operated by Butterfly Supplies. If you

Accuracy of Content
Butterfly Supplies has taken every care in the preparation of
the content of this website. The prices quoted are correct at time
of publishing and all products have been fairly described. All
prices are displayed exclusive of VAT. Packaging may vary from
that shown. Post and packaging is extra, please see our delivery
charges.
The price applicable to the sale of goods shall be the published
price ruling at the time of despatch. Butterfly Supplies therefore
reserves the right to amend prices quoted verbally at the date
of the placing of an order by the customer, on giving not less
than 48 hours notice of the change.
Until full payment title in the goods shall remain in Butterfly
Supplies which reserves the right to dispose of the goods until
full payment is made for the goods in question and all other goods
agreed to be sold by the seller to the buyer for which payment
is then due.
The weights, dimensions and capacities given are approximate only.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible
the colours of our products that appear on the website. However,
as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot
guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will
accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.
Availability
All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon
as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.
Delivery
Charges
Free National delivery on orders over £45 ex VAT. Orders
under £45 will incur a delivery charge of £6.50 + VAT
We endeavour to dispatch stock items within 24 hours.
All orders are sent for next working day delivery.
For Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland Channel Islands,
Isle of Mann, Isle of Wight and international deliveries please
contact us for a quote.
If goods are ordered with a non UK Mainland delivery address without
obtaining a quote for delivery prior to ordering your order will
be cancelled and a refund given less a £10.00 administration
fee. If the order value is less than £10.00 your order will
be cancelled and no refund will be given.
Delivery charges apply per consignment.
After two failed delivery attempts any goods will be returned
to us by the courier and you will be responsible for any associated
delivery and return costs.
Butterfly Supplies reserves the right as part of a contract of
sale to impose such carriage charges as shall be laid down by Company
policy and published from time to time. We endeavour to adhere
to dispatch and delivery times quoted. Under no circumstances shall
Butterfly Supplies be liable for any loss arising from delay in
despatch howsoever caused. Time shall not be of the essence of
any contract of sale. Delivery charges vary depending on the type
of products ordered and the service you select and cannot be refunded.
For urgent deliveries please ask for a quote. Acknowledgment and
Acceptance of your Order If you have supplied us with your email
address, we will notify you by email as soon as possible to confirm
receipt of your order and email you again to confirm details. Our
acceptance of your order will take place upon despatch of the product(s)
ordered. Butterfly Supplies accepts no liability for any damage
to goods in transit unless notified to Butterfly Supplies and the
carrier concerned in writing within 2 working days after delivery.
In cases of non-delivery Butterfly Supplies accepts no liability
of any sort unless written notice is given to Butterfly Supplies
within 2 working days of receipt of the related invoice, which
is sent under separate cover. Butterfly Supplies’ liability
for damage or loss in transit notified to it in accordance with
the above, shall in any event be limited solely to replacement
of the goods by standard delivery within a reasonable time, whether
non-delivery or damage is due to the Butterfly Supplies negligence
or otherwise. Butterfly Supplies will not be liable for alleged
damage, lateness or non-delivery of goods to a third party or any
other alleged consequential loss made at the request of the customer.
Liability in the goods passes to the customer on despatch and
the Customer shall be liable for the safety of the goods thereafter
and accordingly the customer shall indemnify the company for any
loss or damage to the goods howsoever caused until full payment
and shall insure the goods against such risk as may be commercially
prudent. Butterfly Supplies rights under this clause shall not
be affected by any terms agreed in any contract or otherwise howsoever
whereby the customer is granted credit with regard to the payment
of the price of the goods or is permitted by Butterfly Supplies
to defer payment beyond the time granted for doing so, namely 30
days after the date of the invoice.
In the event that Butterfly Supplies goods are sold or provided
to a third party by the way of trade or otherwise, Butterfly Supplies
reserves the right to garnish sequester or otherwise hold security
over any funds payable by the third party in respect of those goods.
The customer shall maintain accurate records so as to enable an
inspection of any books and records to establish the identity and
location of such third party and the payments made by such third
party which relate to goods supplied by Butterfly Supplies and
to allow full access thereto to Butterfly Supplies to enable such
identification and location of any third party.
Non account customers are required to pay invoices in full providing
cleared funds before despatch. Butterfly Supplies may, upon the
provision of satisfactory trade, bank and personal references grant
the customer the facility of a credit account. In this case payment
is due and shall be paid in 30 days after issue of the invoice.
Overdue Accounts
Where a payment has not been made by the customer to Butterfly
Supplies within 40 days Butterfly Supplies reserves the right to
charge 2% per month interest from the date on which the invoice
was issued until receipt of the monies outstanding. Any invoices
becoming overdue will render the entire account payable immediately.
Butterfly Supplies reserves the right to look to the customer for
full reimbursement of any legal, bank or court fees reasonably
incurred in obtaining full payment for goods or in employing another
party to obtain such payment. Butterfly Supplies reserves the right
to exchange, discuss and disseminate credit information about its
customers without their consent or knowledge.
Butterfly Supplies may at its sole discretion and upon provision
of related invoices, accept returns of goods supplied subject to
full payment of all carriage charges incurred on delivery outwards
and inwards, and subject to 10% handling charge to cover the cost
of restocking the goods. No return of specially ordered, manufactured,
non-standard goods will be accepted under any circumstances. Goods
so accepted for return will be credited at the invoiced price,
or the prevailing price, whichever is the lower. Butterfly Supplies
will not recognise or otherwise entertain any debit note or other
document unilaterally raised by a customer in respect of any goods
supplied, or carriage charges levied thereon. Not being a legitimate
VAT input or output document, no such document will be recognised
or taken into consideration when a payment is accepted for goods
supplied, only Butterfly Supplies own credit note being acceptable
for that purpose.
RETURNS POLICY
Defective Goods
We endeavour to dispatch goods in perfect condition and within
the specified time. However if you have any cause for complaint
please contact us in writing. All claims arising form loss of or
damage to goods in transit must be notified to Butterfly Supplies
in writing with in 2 days of receipt of goods. Defective goods
must be notified to Butterfly Supplies in writing within 5 days
of receipt of goods. Claims made outside these specified limits
will be entertained at the decresion of Butterfly Supplies.
Goods returned due to over stocking will incur a 10% handling
fee.
No refunds will be given on delivery charges on the original order.
We offer a 100% guarantee that if you’re in any way dissatisfied
with the goods you have ordered, we will exchange them or give
you a full refund, provided that you return them to us in their
original condition and packaging, unopened, unused, unwashed, with
all labels intact.
Scissors – We offer a no quibble exchange policy if you
find a manufacturing fault with your new scissors. All faults must
be reported with in 3 days of purchase. Any faults reported after
this time will be dealt with at Butterfly Supplies’ decression.
Faults do not include damage by mal-use, dropping or using the
scissors to cut anything other then hair.
Cancellation Right
Under the distance selling regulations you have the legal right
to cancel your order within 7 working days of receipt of the goods.
Where goods are delivered to a third party you will only be able
to exercise this right if you are able to return to us the goods
you ordered. For details of how to exercise this right please see
our payments and refunds section.
Non-standard items and personalised items cannot be accepted for
cancellation and payment must be made in full.
Cancellation after dispatch cannot be accepted.

Notices
We reserve the right to change these terms & conditions from
time to time and you should look through them as often as possible. |
