Accuracy of Content
Butterfly Supplies has taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website. The prices quoted are correct at time of publishing and all products have been fairly described. All prices are displayed exclusive of VAT. Packaging may vary from that shown. Post and packaging is extra, please see our delivery charges.
The price applicable to the sale of goods shall be the published price ruling at the time of despatch. Butterfly Supplies therefore reserves the right to amend prices quoted verbally at the date of the placing of an order by the customer, on giving not less than 48 hours notice of the change.
The weights, dimensions and capacities given are approximate only. From time to time specifications may vary and we reserve the right to do so without prior notice. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.
All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.
Due to the recent increase in card and ID fraud and for added security, goods will only be shipped to the registered card / account holders address.
We endeavour to dispatch stock items within 24 hours. Orders are sent for next working day delivery wherever possible. For couches, furniture and large items please allow 2-3 working days for delivery.
Free National delivery applies on orders over £50 ex VAT. Orders under £50 will incur a delivery charge of £6.99 + VAT
For Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Mann, Isle of Wight and international deliveries please contact us for a quote.
If goods are ordered with a non UK Mainland delivery address without obtaining a quote for delivery prior to ordering your order will be cancelled and a refund given less a £10.00 administration fee. If the order value is less than £10.00 your order will be cancelled and no refund will be given.
Delivery charges apply per consignment.
If at the time of delivery, any parcels are missing or damaged the delivery driver must be notified so that a record can be made. Butterfly Supplies accepts no liability for any damage to goods in transit unless the carrier is notified at the time of delivery. Any orders signed for unchecked will be deemed to have been received complete and in good condition.
After two failed delivery attempts any goods will be returned to us by the courier and you will be responsible for any associated delivery and return costs. Your order will be cancelled and a refund given less all all carriage charges incurred on delivery outwards and inwards and a 15% restocking charge will be applied (minimum restocking charge £15.00 ex. VAT). If the order value is less than the cost of delivery outwards and inwards and the restocking charge no refund will be given.
Under no circumstances shall Butterfly Supplies be liable for any loss arising from delay in despatch howsoever caused. Time shall not be of the essence of any contract of sale. For urgent deliveries please ask for a quote.
Acknowledgment and Acceptance of your Order
If you have supplied us with your email address, we will notify you by email as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your order and email you again to confirm details. Our acceptance of your order will take place upon despatch of the product(s) ordered.
Online and non account customers are required to pay in full providing cleared funds prior to despatch.
Butterfly Supplies may, upon the provision of satisfactory trade, bank and personal references grant the customer the facility of a credit account. In this case payment is due and shall be paid in 30 days after issue of the invoice.
Where a payment has not been made by the customer to Butterfly Supplies within 30 days Butterfly Supplies reserves the right to charge 3% per month interest from the date on which the invoice was issued until receipt of the monies outstanding. Any invoices becoming overdue will render the entire account payable immediately. Butterfly Supplies reserves the right to look to the customer for full reimbursement of any legal, bank or court fees reasonably incurred in obtaining full payment for goods or in employing another party to obtain such payment. Butterfly Supplies reserves the right to exchange, discuss and disseminate credit information about its customers without their consent or knowledge.
Butterfly Supplies may at its sole discretion and upon provision of related invoices, accept returns of goods supplied subject to full payment of all carriage charges incurred on delivery outwards and inwards, and subject to 15% handling charge (minimum charge £15.00 ex. VAT) to cover the cost of restocking the goods. No return of specially ordered, manufactured, non-standard goods will be accepted under any circumstances. Goods so accepted for return will be credited or refunded at the invoiced price less any delivery charge incurred (inward or outward) if applicable. In the event of a credit being raised only Butterfly Supplies own credit note will be accepted for that purpose.
Goods returned due to over stocking or incorrect ordering will incur a 15% handling fee (minimum charge £15.00 ex. VAT).
No refunds will be given on delivery charges on the original order.
We endeavour to dispatch goods in perfect condition and within the specified time. However if you have any cause for complaint please contact us in writing. All claims arising from loss of or damage to goods in transit must be notified to Butterfly Supplies in writing within 3 days of receipt of goods. Defective goods must be notified to Butterfly Supplies in writing within 5 days of receipt of goods. Claims made outside these specified limits will be entertained at the discretion of Butterfly Supplies. We will exchange faulty goods provided that you return them to us in their original condition and packaging, unopened, unused, unwashed, with all labels intact.
Under the distance selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within 7 working days of receipt of the goods. Cancellations and returns after this period are at the sellers discretion. Where goods are delivered to a third party you will only be able to exercise this right if you are able to return to us the goods you ordered. For details of how to exercise this right please see our payments and refunds section. The buyer is responsible for all return delivery costs due to cancellations
Non-standard items, specially ordered and personalised items cannot be accepted for cancellation and payment must be made in full.
Cancellation after dispatch cannot be accepted.

We reserve the right to change these terms & conditions from time to time and you should look through them as often as possible.
